Security services by sector in Iraq

Diri Al-Nassir is an Iraqi private security company with offices in Basra, Kirkuk, Erbil and Mosul, licensed by the Federal Ministry of Interior (Licence No. 206). We protect oil and gas, energy, power and telecommunications operations, and are equipped to secure banks, international organisations and construction projects — each sector with its own risks and way of working.

Choose your sector

Six sectors, one way of working

The risks differ from sector to sector; our method does not: assess, plan, deploy and supervise, then monitor and report — inside an ISO 18788-certified management system. Where we name a project, we delivered it; for the other sectors we describe how we would secure your operation.

01Oil fields & energy hubs

Oil, gas & energy

Oil fields, energy hubs and the camps around them combine high-value assets, international staff and constant vehicle movement. We secure the perimeter, control who comes in and move people safely between sites.

What we provide

  • Armed and unarmed static security and vehicle entry control points (ECP)
  • PSD teams and journey management between camps and fields
  • 24/7 operations room and CCTV monitoring
  • K9 explosive detection at entry points
  • Accommodation security and life support for client teams
  • Incident logging and reporting aligned with the client’s HSSE requirements

Where we have done this

Iraq Energy City (IEC), Basra — integrated static security for a multi-tenant energy hub. Daqing, Basra — static security and journey management for in-field and out-field movements. KENT, Kirkuk — PSD teams, operations-room coordination, accommodation and life support.

02Substation & grid projects

Power & utilities

Power projects are spread across distant sites, often with international engineers working in areas of varying risk. We plan every movement, escort teams to the work site and stay in contact until they are back.

What we provide

  • PSD teams for daily field missions
  • Route assessment before every move and an emergency plan for each mission
  • GPS vehicle tracking and operations-room coordination
  • Site security during working hours
  • Daily and weekly client reporting

Where we have done this

TAS Energy — PSD field missions for international and local staff working on power-substation reconstruction, between Erbil and work sites in Nineveh and Kirkuk.

03Headquarters & sites

Telecommunications

Telecoms operators need their city headquarters protected and a realistic view of the risks around them. We provide static security backed by a nearby office, and base the security plan on a documented threat and vulnerability assessment.

What we provide

  • Static security for headquarters and office buildings
  • Access control and visitor management
  • Site security risk assessments with practical recommendations
  • Mobile patrols for dispersed sites where needed
  • Direct support from our Mosul office

Where we have done this

NBTel (Nour Al-Bidaya), Mosul — static security for the company headquarters, supported directly by our Mosul office, and a full security risk assessment of the inner-city site.

04Branches & head offices

Banking & finance

Bank branches and financial head offices need a disciplined security presence that is also courteous to the public. We design guarding, access control and monitoring around each site and its level of risk.

What we provide

  • Guarding for head offices and branches, in and out of hours
  • Access control and visitor management
  • CCTV and alarm monitoring linked to the operations room
  • Security risk assessment, emergency and evacuation plans
  • Guard training in de-escalation and dealing with the public

05People & premises

Government & international organisations

International organisations need a security partner held to the same standards as their donors and boards. We work to ISO 18788 and ANSI/ASIS PSC.1 as an ICoCA-certified company, with published policies on human rights, use of force and grievances.

What we provide

  • Protected staff movement and journey management
  • Security for offices, compounds and guesthouses
  • Risk assessments before visits and field missions
  • Security briefings for staff and visitors
  • Compliance documents ready for procurement teams: certificates, policies and ICoCA certification

06Project sites & plants

Construction & industrial

Construction sites change every day as contractors, plant and materials come and go. We control access to the site, protect equipment and stores, and keep the perimeter watched for the life of the project.

What we provide

  • Access control for contractors, vehicles and plant
  • Out-of-hours security for stores and equipment
  • Perimeter patrols and watch towers
  • Risk assessment before mobilising to site
  • Coordination with site health and safety leads
