Service details

We currently work in oil, gas and energy; power and utilities; and telecommunications. We are also equipped to serve government bodies, international organisations and NGOs, banking and finance, construction and industrial sites, and commercial premises and events.

We operate from our offices in Basra (Iraq Energy City), Kirkuk, Erbil and Mosul, each with its own operations room, and from our Baghdad office, and cover every governorate of Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region; current operations include Nineveh, Kirkuk, Basra (including Zubair and the oil fields), Erbil and Baghdad. Every deployment starts with a risk assessment. In the Kurdistan Region, we operate with a KRG-licensed guarding partner, as approved by the KRG Ministry of Interior.

Yes. We provide both armed and unarmed guard forces. Our certified scope covers armed static and mobile security services in Iraq, and the right posture for each site or movement is determined through the risk assessment and agreed with the client. All armed personnel operate under our Use of Force procedures.

Yes. Our PSD teams and close protection officers protect international and local staff and executives in high-risk environments, using vehicles matched to the threat assessment, including armoured vehicles where required. Every movement is supported by route assessment and planning (primary and alternative routes, daily risk briefings), convoy coordination over secure radio communications, emergency and extraction planning, and real-time coordination from our operations room.

Mobilisation time depends on the scope: the location, the number of personnel and vehicles, equipment and technology requirements, and any client or site access procedures. We agree the mobilisation plan and timeline with each client as part of the proposal.

Yes. We deliver explosive-detection dog teams and their handlers. At Iraq Energy City in Basra, explosive-detection dogs and their handlers support the entry control point around the clock.

Yes. Our offices in Basra, Kirkuk, Erbil and Mosul each have an operations room staffed 24/7 by trained watchkeepers. They provide CCTV and control-room monitoring (including alarm systems, with AI-assisted analytics where the site system supports it), GPS tracking of vehicles, incident reporting and management, and real-time coordination of escorts and field teams. Access-control systems can be added through specialist suppliers for large or remote sites.

03Compliance & human rights

Compliance & human rights

Our VPSHR Policy, Human Rights Policy and Human Rights Impact Assessment process govern how we plan and deliver security. Human-rights safeguards are built into our risk assessments, we follow defined protocols when working alongside Iraqi public security forces, and all personnel are trained on the VPSHR, human rights, use of force, cultural awareness and conflict management before deployment.

Recruitment follows our Selection & Vetting Policy and our Equal Opportunity & Anti-Discrimination Policy. Personnel must be medically fit and hold a valid police conduct certificate, and they complete induction training followed by regular refresher training. We also maintain a Combating Trafficking in Persons (CTIP) Plan.

Our Use of Force procedures require any use of force to be lawful, necessary and proportionate to the threat, using only the minimum force required. De-escalation and non-lethal methods take priority wherever possible. Personnel are accountable for their actions, and every incident is reported, investigated and documented.

Training is continuous and covers security protocols, first aid, fire safety, emergency response, conflict de-escalation, use of force and human rights (including the VPSHR), and weapons handling on the range for armed personnel.

Anyone — employees, community members, clients or partners — can raise a concern through our public grievance mechanism or by email to grievance@diri-alnassir.iq. Grievances are handled confidentially, anonymous reports are accepted, and retaliation against anyone reporting in good faith is prohibited under our Grievance and Whistleblower policies.
