Protected movement

Protective security details (PSD) in Iraq

Diri Al-Nassir moves clients’ international and local staff through high-risk areas of Iraq with trained PSD teams, routes planned in advance and a 24/7 operations room watching every move — under Federal Ministry of Interior Licence No. 206.

01Scope

What the service includes

We design every mission around the people we protect, the route and the threat level on the day.

  • PSD teams for movement in high-risk environments
  • Close protection officers for international and local staff and executives
  • Armoured or soft-skin protection vehicles chosen to the threat assessment
  • Route assessment and planning: daily risk briefings, primary and alternative routes

  • Real-time operations-room oversight and GPS vehicle tracking

Inside a certified management system

02How it works

How a protected movement works

  1. Assess

We confirm who is moving, where and when, and assess the threats on the route and at the work site.

  2. Plan

Primary and alternative routes, safe halts, an emergency and extraction plan, and a briefing for the team and the client.

  3. Move

Vehicle and kit checks, then the move — in constant contact with the operations room and tracked by GPS.

  4. Report

The mission and any incident are logged, the client receives a report, and lessons feed the next movement.

04Questions

Questions about PSD

Yes. Our teams protect international and local staff and executives in high-risk environments, in vehicles matched to the threat assessment — including armoured vehicles where required — with route assessment, convoy coordination and an emergency plan for every movement.

We provide PSD in every governorate of Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region; current work includes Mosul, Kirkuk and Basra and the corridors between Erbil, Nineveh and Kirkuk. Every mission starts with a risk assessment.

It depends on the scope: the location, the number of personnel and vehicles, equipment and any client access procedures. We agree the mobilisation plan and timeline with each client in the proposal.

Our operations room follows every move 24/7 through GPS vehicle tracking and secure radio, and coordinates support if anything happens.
