01
Start from a site assessment
Access control is built on knowledge of the site: its entrances and perimeter, how people and vehicles move through it, and who the tenants are. A site assessment brings these together before any decision on posts, numbers or shifts.
What Diri Al-Nassir does
We build every guarding plan from a site assessment covering the entrances, the perimeter, people and vehicle flows and the tenants on site, inside our ISO 18788-certified management system.
02
Agree one set of rules for every tenant
Each tenant has its own staff, visitors and contractors. Access works best when the rules are agreed once and applied the same way at every entrance. Points worth settling early:
- Who may approve a visitor, and how the approval reaches the gate
- Which identification is accepted for staff, visitors and contractors
- How compound rules are communicated to every tenant
- Who to contact on each tenant’s side when a question arises at the gate
03
Treat people and vehicles separately
People and vehicles raise different questions. Pedestrian entrances deal with identity checks and visitor management; vehicle entry control points deal with searching vehicles and their loads, including trucks and deliveries.
What Diri Al-Nassir does
Our static security teams provide access control, visitor management and ID checks, and run vehicle entry control points (ECP) with truck searches. Explosive-detection dog teams can support entrances where the risk assessment calls for them.
04
Connect the gate to the operations room
Gate teams should not work alone. Cameras, alarms and radio let the operations room see what the gate sees, so an incident at one entrance can be escalated straight away.
What Diri Al-Nassir does
Our 24/7 operations room provides CCTV and alarm monitoring and incident management. Where the site’s systems allow, we can monitor existing cameras, and access-control systems can be added through specialist suppliers for large or remote sites.
05
Practise, record and review
Rules and posts are only the start. Regular drills keep teams ready, and logging and reviewing every incident at the gate improves the plan over time.
What Diri Al-Nassir does
We run regular emergency drills, and every incident is logged, escalated, analysed for its root cause and closed with corrective action in line with ISO 18788. Clients receive daily, weekly and monthly reports.
